What the heck just happened to my computer?ĮDIT: I just removed the latest quality updates, but the problem is still continues changing user accounts or removing the display drivers didn't work either. The Show Desktop Icons setting is ignored in previous versions of Windows if Active Desktop is turned off. Now I tried to remove the quality update again, and it just worked but the thing is, it's on the same 'Deleting quality updates.' screen for the fifteen minutes. If you upgrade a previous version of Windows to Windows XP, and Show Desktop Icons was turned off in the previous Windows version, this setting is maintained, and user icons appear to be missing from the desktop. When I came home, I saw that my dad was trying to open the computer but it was updating itself anyway, I took the computer from them and tried to open it, it actually opened after the update, but when I just logged in into my user account, it just started to refresh itself, I can't see my wallpaper or desktop and there was only black screen with the taskbar I was able to interact with the task manager but my moves are also limited on there too, I also just tried to fix the boot up problems, but it told me that it didn't work and it's unable to fix it, later then I also tried to remove the latest quality update, which just crashed my computer, I then tried to remove the latest feature update, which is also just gave me an error, saying that it's unable to remove it. So, it was actually okay and working this morning I was using it without any problems, but then I go outside for the whole day.
